Stress-Busting Workouts

 Stress-Busting Workout:       Cardiovascular Exercise 

            Here is a cardio workout to help you beat stress.  It can be performed using any

type of cardiovascular exercise.

 

            5-10 minute      Warm-up slowly until you feel warm and are breathing harder

 

            1 minute           As intense as you can maintain for 1 min.

 

            1 minute           Warm-up pace

            ***Repeat the last 2 minutes 5 times

 

            2 minute           Warm-up pace

 

            1 minute           As intense as you can maintain for 1 min.

 

            1 minute           Warm-up pace

            ***Repeat the last 2 minutes 5 times

 

            5 minute           Cool down.  Slowly bring your breathing back to normal

 

 Stress-Busting Workout:       Strength Exercise              No matter what exercises you perform, the key is to make sure that you push past your limits.  Use a weight or resistance that gets you to a point where you feel out of breath and are truly giving your maximum effort.
