As a personal trainer who emphasizes real life ways to healthy living, I am always on the hunt for new tips and tricks. 

Here’s the latest: Larabars

 

 I have many clients who need convenient nutrition and until recently, I have been at a loss for recommending a convenient, natural, nutritious option.  Most bars (protein, granola, snack, etc.) have a list of ingredients that I can not pronounce and contain hydrogenated oils. I was so amazed when I saw the ingredients of larabars.  The ingredients of the Cashew Cookie bar are cashews and dates.  That’s it! 

Professionally, I would recommend them. 

 

However, more profound, is that I would eat them myself.

 

I have some health issues with my insulin response and try to eat the least processed foods as much as I can. I have now added LaraBars to my diet and that says a lot.
